Singapore's First Red Bean Paste Tangyuan (Glutinous Rice Balls) is a traditional Chinese dessert symbolizing family unity. It's always popular, whether for a special occasion or not.
100% pure ingredients (including fillings)
Smooth and chewy texture
Balanced taste and ideal skin-to-filling ratio
How to boil tangyuan without breaking them?
No need to thaw
Take directly from the freezer and place into boiling water
Use enough deep water for boiling
Stir the tangyuan with chopsticks, a ladle, or similar cooking utensils to prevent them from sticking together while boiling
After the water boils again, turn to medium-low heat, then add a bowl of cold water and wait for it to boil again. This allows the tangyuan to cook more evenly inside and out, and also makes the skin chewier.
Repeat this process 2-3 times, and the tangyuan will be cooked without breaking.
