All pigs raised by BEHER are 100% Iberian breed, whose genetic purity has been carefully selected and cared for to achieve a standardized prototype, ensuring uniformity in their morphology and meat quality. They have accurate fat and bacon ratios. As for the pigs' diet, the key is the use of home-produced feed, allowing BEHER to control how all pigs are fed in the same way. What does “Bellota Grade” mean?The Iberian ham classification system focuses on 3 main pillars:

The Black label is the highest grade of Iberian ham. Pigs that receive this grade must be 100% Iberian breed, 100% acorn-fed during their montanero period (October to February), and 100% free-range.
