The name of this dessert comes from the Jiufen area of Taiwan, where one can taste the most authentic Taiwanese Three-Color Jiufen Taro and Sweet Potato Balls. These small balls come in three different colors: white, orange, and purple. The white balls represent taro, the orange balls represent sweet potato, and the purple balls are a mixture of taro and sweet potato. This dessert has a delicate and sweet texture, with every bite offering the unique flavors of taro and sweet potato.
