Pacific rockfish has a slightly sweet taste with low fat content, yet its texture remains delicate and tender. The flesh is pale white and distinctly flaky. The skin is smooth and thin, orange-red in color. Our rockfish fillets are wild-caught in the Pacific waters off Alaska, USA, and are free from added growth hormones (HGPs) or antibiotics.

In Asia, whole rockfish are commonly cooked, often steamed or blanched in oil, while fillets are usually cut into pieces and stir-fried. In Western countries, fillets are often lightly pan-fried directly, or dipped in egg batter and flour before deep-frying.
